Your Year In Review

Given the time of the year, it’s timely to record a video on reflection. As business owners, we naturally see the next problem and neglect recognising everything we have done, and Christmas is a great time to reflect on the past year. One of the best ways to do this is to look at where we’ve come from and how much we’ve achieved. Here’s a useful exercise: Block out 30 minutes UNINTERRUPTED with a blank document and a pen. Start by thinking about where you were, this time last year, emotionally, physically, financially… use any resources you can think of to work through each month – and touch on what you’ve learned, experienced, accomplished and whether you would do it again, what you felt, what you enjoyed and what didn’t. Some key points are what worked? What didn’t work? What will you continue next year and what will you leave behind? Finally, recognise just how much you have done by looking at what you have written down. It’s surprising how much you have accomplished. Spoil yourself to celebrate and acknowledge everything you’ve achieved!
